Craig LEE

Date of Birth - 9 May 1977

Place of Birth - Stirling

Turned Pro - 1996

European Tour Profile - Craig Lee

Would not have made it onto The European Tour in 2008 were it not for

the generosity of a friend, who paid his entry fee to the Qualifying School.

Won through the First Stage before embarking on a 190-hole, 15-day

marathon to complete the Second and Final Stages. The former Scottish

Boys’ Stroke Play champion prepared for his endurance test by running

up the 1,300ft Dumyat Hill near his native Stirling every other day for a

month. His regime paid handsome dividends as he took the 15th card to

ensure a debut season on The European Tour. Subsequently lost his card

after finishing 186th in The 2008 Race to Dubai, but sealed a return to The

European Tour in 2011 with the help of a tied second place finish at the

dual ranking SAINT OMER OPEN presented by Neuflize OBC, where he

earned €44,740, the biggest cheque of his Challenge Tour career.
